"Latch" was released in October 2012 by English electronic music duo Disclosure and features the vocals of singer Sam Smith. The track was written by Guy Lawrence, Howard Lawrence, and Smith, and was produced by Disclosure while it was released in the UK through PMR Records and Island Records.

The original features elements of UK Garage music as well as more modern dance production techniques which compliment Sam Smith's soulful vocal and build excitement throughout the track.

The track reached number 11 on the UK Singles Chart and number one on the UK Dance Chart and also charted in countries like Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, and the Netherlands. "Latch" was nominated for Best Dance Recording at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards and for British Single of the Year at the 2014 Brit Awards.
